Virgilio Ramos Gonzalez received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico in 1963 and graduated from the School of Law of the University of Puerto Rico in 1966.  After graduating from Law School, he become a Law Clerk to Judge Mariano Ramírez Bages in the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico.  After his clerkship, he served in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, United States Army.  He was special assistant to the Governor of Puerto Rico from 1971 to 1972, special assistant to the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, from 1973 to 1976 and Public Policy and Government Programs Coordinator and Legal Advisor to the Governor of Puerto Rico from 1980 to 1984, from 1977 to 1980 and from 1980 to 1984 until the present, Mr. Ramos has been in private practice.  He is admitted to the practice of law in the Puerto Rico Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Mr. Ramos has concentrated his practice of law in the areas of insurance, government contracts, real estate transactions and private corporate law.  He has been a speaker at seminars in Puerto Rico and the United States on Real Estate Transactions and Insurance.
