Meet the Founder

Lauren’s energy and enthusiasm lead the way at LBR/PR, whether she’s cultivating new business, heading up strategy sessions or asking a million questions to really understand what makes our clients – and their businesses – tick. She loves geeking out on entrepreneurship, listening to podcasts, helping people in her network, dry martinis (with a twist) and flipping tires at the gym. She has a strong aversion to cycling, Zumba, passive aggression, waiting in lines, Modest Mouse and gin.

For almost two decades, Lauren Banyar Reich has been helping business thought leaders leverage their expertise for greater visibility, credibility and ultimately profitability for their businesses. Throughout her career, Lauren has worked with visionary thought leaders including bestselling authors, C-Suite executives, entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers and innovative brands and non-profits to advance their business goals using earned media.

Prior to founding LBR/PR, Lauren served as the Director leading luxury accounts within Peppercomm’s consumer group and as Vice President and Director for Janine Gordon Associates (JGA), where she managed the agency day-to-day working on a variety of business and consumer brands from American Express to L’Oreal. Lauren also spent four years at Jane Wesman Public Relations, a respected book publicity agency, and began her career wrangling celebrity talent and managing production for major fundraising events. A frequent guest speaker on all things PR, her own thought leadership has appeared in BloombergLaw , Medium , Working Mother and more. Lauren is a graduate of the University of Maryland’s School of Journalism. She currently lives in New Jersey with her husband, two rambunctious sons and their Briard, Hildegard.

Meet the Team

  • Politely persistent and detail-oriented, Laura leaves no stone unturned when it comes to researching, pitching and securing opportunities and media placements that truly move the needle for our clients. A textbook Taurus, you’re most likely to find her at home, sipping coffee while doing a face mask, petting her best kitty friend Meisha, or whipping up an indulgent meal. She’s not a fan of standup comedy, almond-flavored things or cardio workouts.  

  • Alexandra began doing PR and marketing for her alma mater's art museum to drum up some foot traffic for a new exhibition, and the rest is history! In her role as Senior PR Consultant for LBR/PR, Alexandra specializes in lifestyle, book publishing and everything arts & culture-related. Alexandra enjoys writing, coming up with creative pitch ideas, brainstorming with the LBR/PR team, and locking in PR wins for her clients. When she's not wearing her publicist hat, Alexandra enjoys spending her time at museums and finding off-the-beaten-path gallery shows, watching all things Bravo, traveling and brushing up on her foreign language skills. She strongly dislikes puzzles, inevitably learning she has no matching pairs of socks, when Excel is being “mean,” and frizzy hair days.

  • If there are numbers involved, so is Ashley. She oversees the accounting and bookkeeping functions of LBR - and any other business task Lauren punts in her direction. Ashley loves traveling, country music, a strong margarita and spreadsheets. She strongly dislikes whining, herniated discs, freezing grocery stores, outer space and mosquitos.

 
  • Taylor's ambition, creativity, and constant dedication to her work have made her LBR/PR's right hand gal. Building relationships, researching, pitching, supporting the planning of marketing campaigns and more, Taylor wears many hats and is ready to lend a helping hand wherever she can. When she's not working, you can find her at the gym or parked in front of the TV with her dogs Dexter and Louie for a Boston Red Sox or Miami Dolphins game. Taylor is a textbook wine snob and strongly dislikes all things coconut, oysters, and yogurt.

  • Eager and open to new challenges, Marissa is thrilled to advance her PR career with LBR/PR. She is highly motivated by achieving quality results and enjoys generating creative strategies to assist clients in reaching their goals. Beyond her professional life, you'll often find Marissa engaged in Pilates sessions or relaxing at home, indulging in her favorite Bravo TV shows while sipping on a refreshing Poppi soda. She dislikes naps, running, and steak.
